This original work features a black and white portrait of French biologist/chemist Louis Pasteur. Pasteur was most famous for his work with microorganisms. His private journals suggest he wasn’t entirely honest about who got true recognition for some of the ground-breaking experiments, hence the colourful bacteria now lives in his shadow.
