It’s the second in a series of surrealist skeleton original paintings. Here the skeletons are waiting to order fish and chips. Inspired by old photography of British fish and chip shops, the painting aims to capture some of the nostalgia of queuing on a friday for a meal, with a twist of dark humour.
You’ll notice from the dates above that this painting was started in 2018, but in 2023 was re-visited and improved upon. There is an image included which shows the before and after states.
